Clover Basic Sweater is a very classic design, but the pattern is written for beginners. The pattern doesn’t contain any hard techniques, very few abbreviations and you will be guided with illustrations of the process every step of the way. You should be familiar with the following techniques: knit and purl and being able to tell their difference, stockinette worked both in the round and back and forth, longtail cast on (regular cast on) and how to bind off.

Gauge:
14 sts x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] in stockinette using 6 mm [US10] needles

Needles:
Circular needles: 5 mm [US8] (40 and 60 cm) [16 and 32 inches] and 6 mm [US10] (40 and 80 cm) [16 36 inches] (or size needed for correct gauge)
